Human Resource Coordinator- Essex FRS

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract until September 2013

Location : Service Headquarters, Eastbourne

Salary: £20,199 – £24,645 per annum

East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service is looking for an experienced HR Coordinator to join their busy team.  Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will support the provision of a customer focused, generalist HR Service and you will be responsible for:

  1.  Managing all the recruitment activity undertaken within the HR Department;
  2.  Providing day to day HR advice to staff and managers on Service policies;
  3.  Coordinating the sickness monitoring and pay reduction processes;
  4. Producing accurate statistics and management reports for internal and external use;
  5.  Supporting and advising line managers at the informal and first formal stages of the discipline and grievance procedures.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a generalist HR environment and experience of  managing recruitment processes. You will  have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able prioritise your work to meet tight deadlines.
